As our business develops we will be talking to Chefs, KP's, waiting staff, and bar staff, as well as folk who can help

maintain our cleanliness reputation.

Currently the most 'critical' job we are recruiting for is 'Front of House Manager'.

This is a senior appointment to our business and the successful candidate will join the

owners management team. We will consider you if you have experience in this role from elsewhere.

Apart from the obvious skill of positively impressing our clientele you will need to be capable of very effectively training,

developing, leading, and motivating, the team at The Horseshoe Inn & Restaurant. We have a vision of substantially

raising our standards here and that means all our staff have to be top professionals. We believe in almost constant

training and certainly a culture of constant learning. We have to have a positively dynamic atmosphere.

You will need to have the appropriate knowledge related to fine dining restaurant etiquette, knowledge of wines,

as well as the required appreciation of great food and all its ingredients.       

You will be a confident and positive person with gregarious and outgoing interpersonal skills. You will enjoy working

in a team, as an equal to the other professionals even if they happen to be the owners. For the business to achieve the progress we

confidently envisage we know that your role is crucial. Given that success we expect to consider inviting the successful candidate

to participate in the business, either in equity, or in performance related bonuses.  In any case the salary we offer will be competitive.

Our restaurant is currently up to 70-ish covers but we plan a conservatory extension which will take us to a probable limit of about 100.

This extension should be done before the end of the year.
